Rep. Christopher Cox in 1998 headed a select committee probe into China’s theft of U.S. nuclear and military technology. The committee found that China “has stolen classified design information on the United States’ most advanced thermonuclear weapons. These thefts of nuclear secrets from our national weapons laboratories enabled the PRC to design, develop, and successfully test modern strategic nuclear weapons sooner than would otherwise have been possible. The stolen U.S. nuclear secrets give the PRC design information on thermonuclear weapons on a par with our own.”
Reed Irvine and I worked with Notra Trulock, who exposed this scandal when he was Director of Intelligence at the Department of Energy. His book, Code Name Kindred Spirit, revealed the lax security at Los Alamos that enabled one of its scientists, Wen Ho Lee, to download highly classified nuclear secrets onto insecure computers and copy them onto tapes. It also exposed the lax attitude of the CIA, FBI and others in the Clinton administration that made it impossible to staunch the flow of nuclear weapons secrets, missile technology and supercomputers to China. (Lee was indicted on 59 felony counts and later released after pleading guilty to the one felony count.) The Trulock book quotes Paul Redmond, former head of counterintelligence at the CIA, as saying that “millions of Americans could someday die as a result of successful Chinese nuclear espionage” against the U.S. In a reference to the American spies who stole our nuclear secrets for the Soviet Union, Redmond told Trulock, “This is as bad as the Rosenberg case.” The Rosenbergs were Soviet spies executed for espionage.

China, Hacking, and Murder
By Cliff Kincaid 11/11/2014 NSA defector Edward Snowden arrived in China, before going to Russia, and his disclosures included documents on NSA surveillance of the giant Chinese telecommunications firm, Huawei, one of many sources of hacking attacks on the United States. Chinese hacking attacks have been increasing since the Snowden disclosures. In May, the U.S. Department of Justice indicted five Chinese military hackers for computer hacking, economic espionage and other offenses. In a 2012 report, the House Intelligence Committee had called Huawei a threat to U.S. national security interests. “Our country has been sold out for money and power,” says Mary Todd, mother of an American murdered while working on a secret project involving the Chinese firm Huawei. “China has bought out our government.” The story of Shane Todd is much worse than the latest in a series of hacking attacks by China. An American citizen working on a Chinese project in Singapore, he was murdered just before he was scheduled to return to the United States. He had expressed fears that the project could jeopardize U.S. national security and he wanted out. The title of their book, Hard Drive, is a reference to a computer hard drive found after his death that documents the relationship between IME and Huawei, and the nature of the technology and its military applications. Pictures of the young man after his death showed he had defensive wounds, making the official claim of suicide impossible to believe. Mary Todd cannot get either Congress or the Obama Administration to take up the cause of her murdered son. She told me in an interview that she and her husband had met with Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA)about her son’s murder and that Wolf had warned her about the ability to get to the bottom of the scandal, saying, preceded those comments by saying, “Mary, Think about Benghazi.” This is the scandal involving the deaths of four Americans in Libya and an on-going cover-up by the Obama Administration. Mary Todd reports in her book, Hard Drive, that the Congressman “informed us that he was already familiar with our story and that he believed us.” That meant that he believed her son, Shane Todd, who was working on a contract involving the Chinese company Huawei, had been murdered. Authorities in Singapore, where Shane Todd worked, called it a suicide. The U.S. State Department went along with the cover-up. “You are doing the right thing to press for a congressional investigation, but you are not going to get anywhere,” Wolf told them. Shocked and bewildered, she asked, “Why not?” He replied, “Huawei has a law firm on every corner in Washington D.C. and has helped elect several current members of Congress.” Mary Todd writes that she couldn’t believe what she had been told and said to herself: “Does China really have that much influence over our country’s political decisions?” She says Wolf tried to help, by asking the FBI to pursue evidence in the case. Then-Senator Max Baucus (D-MT) tried to help as well, at least at first. But Mary Todd, who lives in Montana, says the assistance eventually dried up. When she asked for the Senator’s help in getting some documents in the case and for the FBI to meet with them, the Baucus staff aide, Laura Rauch, said that the Senator “would be unable to assist with this request.” Mary Todd adds, “Later that afternoon, we discovered from a news report that Baucus had been appointed Ambassador to China by President Obama.” Rep. Wolf’s endorsement of the book says: “I appreciate the Todd family sharing this important story with the American people about how certain foreign actors, especially Chinese companies like Huawei, should be viewed with suspicion and concern. It’s important for Congress to ensure that the federal government does all it can to protect national security and the safety of Americans, both at home and abroad, when challenged by foreign influences, especially countries like China that steal our technology and don't share our values. We should all keep Dr. Shane Todd’s story and the Todd family’s experience in mind as we consider future cooperation with certain countries and companies.” A post from the left-wing Institute for Public Accuracy: MSNBC Enables Biden’s Pattern of Iraq Lies. The Real Joe Biden By Cliff Kincaid Originally published on October 9, 2012 Known for making humorous and outrageous gaffes and statements, Joe Biden’s history of plagiarism goes back to the time when he ran for president in 1988. Biden had delivered, without attribution, passages from a speech by British Labor Party leader Neil Kinnock. Political scientist Larry Sabato has noted that this led to revelations about a serious plagiarism incident involving Biden during his law school years, reports of exaggerations of his academic record, and the discovery that he had stolen quotations from other politicians, including Bobby Kennedy, in other speeches. As we noted back in 2007 on the issue of Biden’s plagiarism, Biden had insisted in a book, Promises to Keep, that he failed to credit Kinnock on only one occasion, and that the media had exaggerated the incident. But why was he quoting from a biographical speech by Kinnock in the first place? Didn’t Biden have his own story to tell? In another case, a reporter asked about Biden using a Bobby Kennedy quote without attribution. Biden blamed this on “one of my speechwriters” who “had inserted an RFK line” into the speech “without telling me.” This is the closest Biden has come to admitting he doesn’t write his own material, and that he repeats what others put in front of him. On other occasions, however, he is on his own, and that seems to be the most worrisome. About.com has compiled “Bidenisms,” a series of “Dumb Joe Biden Quotes and Gaffes.” Some of the best:
Time Magazine compiled the “Top 10 Joe Biden Gaffes,” noting, “Throughout his decades of public service, the former Senator and current Vice President has earned a reputation for often saying the wrong thing at the wrong time.” From September 7, 2008 Jonathan Beecher Field, an assistant professor of English at Clemson University, wrote a very interesting article recently for InsideHigherEd.com about Biden’s “track record of intellectual dishonesty.” This is what plagiarism is all about. Referring to the plagiarism in Biden’s career, he said that while he would vote for Obama, “Biden’s dishonesty matters to me in two ways. It suggests something of Biden’s character, indeed, in a realm more relevant to doing his job than was John Edwards’s philandering to his. The other reason is selfish. Now that Barack Obama has deemed a plagiarist worthy of the vice-presidency, it becomes more difficult for me to make the case in the classroom that plagiarism matters. More broadly speaking, Obama’s choice has made it harder for me, and for my colleagues across the United States, to defend the principles that form the foundation of scholarship.” See this post: Facebook blocks Steven Mosher’s New York Post article—Calls it “False Information.” Mosher of the Population Research Institute (PRI) claimed that the Wuhan Institute of Virology was the source of the China Coronavirus.
That researcher Danielle E. Anderson, is identified by healthfeedback.org as an assistant professor and virologist at Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore, and part of the team that developed the world’s first antibody test for COVID-19. She said it is “simply false” to label the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) as a bioweapons research lab, adding that biosecurity at the institute is top-notch.“I have worked in this exact laboratory at various times for the past two years,” she said. “I can personally attest to the strict control and containment measures implemented while working there. The staff at WIV are incredibly competent, hardworking, and are excellent scientists with superb track records.”

Trump Has Been Sabotaged by the Medical Deep State By Cliff Kincaid – March 8, 2020 The Chinese virus has been treated as just a natural occurrence or unfortunate incident that necessitates that we have to cede more power over our lives to what critics have long called the Medical Deep State. Under pressure from a foreign threat, President Trump has relied on these health care “professionals.” But the result has been stories from the Washington Post about “How the Trump administration lost control of the coronavirus crisis” and the New York Times about how “The Coronavirus Is Coming for Trump’s Presidency.” This is the new narrative designed to bring down Trump. The President has another option: put the military in charge of the coronavirus response and move quickly to a war footing with Communist China, the source of the outbreak. Financially, in a major blow to the U.S. capitalist system and the world economy, more than $6 trillion in wealth in global stock markets was erased in one week over fears that the virus has been mishandled and the disease is spreading. China has been hit hard, too, but is able to recover more quickly because its economy and population are under the tight control of the communist dictatorship. It has more than enough people to sacrifice in a war with the West. Conservative writers such as Matt Margolis note that President Trump was quick to ban travel with China, despite opposition from the U.N.’s World Health Organization (WHO). This was a decisive step. But the U.N. agency had also failed to act quickly to label coronavirus an international health emergency, and U.S. agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) botched the approval and roll-out of reliable tests for the disease. These testing failures have facilitated the spread of the disease and have been seized upon by the media as evidence of Trump Administration incompetence. At the same time, basic skepticism about the nature of the mystery illness has been suppressed, in the name of stopping “conspiracy theories,” as new developments raise more suspicion over the source and timing of an “outbreak” that is almost certain to become a pandemic, cause a recession, and threaten President Trump’s reelection effort. The deadly disease originated in a region also known for the Chinese Wuhan Institute of Virology, which conducts “research” on viruses that include SARS and the deadly and incurable HIV. It looks like Trump was set up. “Now Trump Needs the Deep State to Fight Coronavirus,” gloated an online headline over an article by Ronald Klain, Obama's Ebola czar. He insisted that Trump had to “work closely with foreign leaders and global institutions” in order to confront “a global-health security challenge.” But the WHO’s record is checkered at best. It now stands accused of conducting unethical vaccine experiments on 720,000 children in Africa without parental consent. On March 3, we learned that the world’s first experimental coronavirus or COVID-19 vaccine was “administered” to People’s Liberation Army (PLA) General Chen Wei and 6 other Communist Party members. A photograph showed the communists getting the vaccine in front of a flag with a communist hammer and sickle. It seems strange that the Chinese have developed a vaccine so quickly, after our own “public health professionals” have been telling President Trump that it will take many months, even a year, to get a reliable vaccine approved. China has also patented an anti-viral drug created by an American firm that is being used experimentally to treat the disease. What’s also fascinating is that the photo was posted by Yanzhong Huang, a senior fellow for global health at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and “expert” on “global health governance.” Incredibly, he has just written an article for the CFR journal Foreign Affairs saying that the nature of the coronavirus crisis justifies more military-to-military exchanges between the Chinese PLA and the Pentagon. This is how, he claims, we can reduce mistrust between the two nations. He is also very concerned about “conspiracy theories,” including a scientific paper that the virus’s protein sequence included elements of HIV, the deadly virus causing AIDS. For publicizing this theory, he noted, one website was banned from Twitter. The globalist point of view is that we should accept what the public health professionals in China and the U.S. are saying. Anything to the contrary has to be tagged as a conspiracy theory and countered by information from the U.N.’s WHO. Indeed, WHO executive director Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has thanked Google, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and other companies “for their efforts to direct users” to the WHO “and other credible sources of information.” A petition labels Tedros a tool of China and faults the WHO’s initial failure to declare the virus a public health emergency. It calls for his resignation. Even the CFR health expert, Yanzhong Huang, went on to say, “The [Chinese] government’s actions have lent credibility to the thesis that the coronavirus accidentally escaped a laboratory.” He noted, “In February, China appointed Major General Chen Wei, China’s top biowarfare expert, as head of the BSL-4 laboratory at Wuhan Institute of Virology. Because of Chen’s background, the appointment fueled suspicions about the virus’s possible connection to the BSL-4 lab.” This is the same general getting the vaccine. Interestingly, after the Chinese admitted the virus was on the loose, the PLA announced that it had sent in a total of 2600 “medical personnel” to deal with the epidemic. It looks like a case of the PLA protecting military secrets, perhaps a bioweapon. Another so-called public health professional, former Obama CDC Director Tom Frieden, has now joined the CFR as Senior Fellow for Global Health. He is president and CEO of Resolve to Save Lives, an initiative that received $225 million from Bloomberg Philanthropies, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Gates Philanthropy Partners, which is funded with support from the Chan Zuckerberg Foundation (named for the founder and CEO of Facebook and his wife). Frieden’s goal is “adequate funding for global public health.” In a statement on the bill signed by Trump that sends $8.3 billion more to the public health professionals, he said that Congress should “protect the United States through global partnerships that will tamp down COVID-19 and make the world safer from the next epidemic.” That implies more cooperation with the U.N. and China. The group’s Senior Vice President, Amanda McClelland, participated in a National Press Club event “to provide guidelines for journalists on responsible, proactive coverage of coronavirus.” One of the other participants was Dr. Nancy Messonnier, director of the CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases and the original spokesperson for the CDC's response to the coronavirus crisis. Rosenstein’s Sister Suspicions about the “responsible” nature of the advice were raised when Messonnier warned early on that “It’s not so much of a question of if this will happen anymore but rather more of a question of exactly when this will happen.” This took President Trump by surprise since the “professionals” had been assuring him that everything was under control and that COVID-19 was a flu-like virus that would be contained. Then it came out that Messonnier was former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s sister. Recall that when Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from the Russia investigation, Rosenstein was in charge and eventually appointed former FBI director Bob Mueller as Russia-gate prosecutor. Muller’s reign as FBI director was characterized by a failure to pursue evidence demonstrating that al-Qaeda was responsible for the post-9/11 anthrax attacks. At this point in the crisis over coronavirus, it is not too late to consult the report issued by former Senator Tom Coburn M.D., “CDC Off Center,” about how the federal agency wasted hundreds of millions of tax dollars for failed prevention efforts and has been ineffective in controlling disease. A case in point is the billions wasted on more than 30 years of research into an HIV/AIDS vaccine. Even before Trump was elected, a group called CDC Spider, for CDC Scientists Preserving Integrity, Diligence and Ethics in Research, had emerged, alleging that the federal agency is too cozy with corporate and special interests and outside parties. One of the complaints was that domestic staff resources were taken away from domestic priorities to work on global health issues. As a result of this globalist perspective, the federal National Institutes of Health became a “partner” with the Wuhan Institute of Virology. This kind of “cooperation,” now being touted as the solution to the crisis, did not stop the crisis from developing in the first place. Coronavirus looks like a military threat, even an Act of War inflicted by China on the United States and the world. With President Trump’s approval, military medical leaders could now take the lead in solving the crisis. Emergency measures are needed. ![]() Former FBI Director Robert Mueller ignored the abundant evidence of an al-Qaeda role in the anthrax attacks because the FBI had picked up the anthrax mailer and let him go. He reportedly went on to bring down Flight 587 with a shoe bomb. All of this was just too embarrassing for Mueller to admit. A deliberate cover-up was engineered as Mueller purged government materials of information that identified the nature of the Islamic terrorist enemy nd its use of a bioweapon probably stolen from a U.S. lab. Mueller’s team, which blamed several different American military scientists for the anthrax mailings, was sued by the FBI inspector in charge of the investigation, Kenneth Lambert, over a cover-up. ![]() Official press release: Secretary Michael R. IAEA Reports Nuclear Concerns in Iran 03/05/2020 05:02 PM EST Michael R. Pompeo, Secretary of State On March 3 in Vienna, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi issued two new reports that heighten already serious concerns that the Islamic Republic of Iran is hiding its nuclear material and nuclear activities. Iran is a signatory to the Non-Proliferation Treaty. Iran’s safeguards agreements, under that Treaty, require it to declare nuclear material to the IAEA and provide IAEA inspectors with access for verification. Iran’s intentional failure to declare such nuclear material would be a clear violation of its safeguards agreement required by the Non-Proliferation Treaty. The regime must immediately cooperate with the IAEA and fully comply with its IAEA safeguards obligations. Otherwise, the NPT isn’t worth the paper it is written on. The IAEA’s latest reports are all the more troubling because we know that Iran continues to lie about its past nuclear weapons program and concealed a vast archive of records from those efforts when it concluded the nuclear deal – not to mention its lies about downing a civilian airliner, and its suppression of the extent of its coronavirus outbreak. Given Iran’s prior covert nuclear weapons program and ignominious record of duplicity, any undeclared nuclear material or activities in Iran today would be an extremely serious matter. The United States remains committed to denying Iran any pathway to a nuclear weapon. In light of Iran’s past nuclear weapons program, it is imperative that Iran verifiably demonstrate that it has permanently abandoned all such work. Any new deal addressing nuclear concerns in Iran must be built on robust and effective verification. The international community must speak clearly and with one voice: full and transparent cooperation with the IAEA and compliance with the NPT is the only path forward for Iran. |
