![]() RFK Jr. Rejects the Kennedy Anti-Communist Legacy By Cliff Kincaid During a recent trip to Las Vegas, I noticed that various signs still identified McCarran International Airport, which was named for U.S. Senator Pat McCarran, one of the strongest anti-communist Democrats in history. Officially, however, it has been renamed Harry Reid International Airport, after Senator Harry Reid. Liberals forced the name change because of McCarran’s conservative politics and anti-communist orientation. McCarran was considered by some to be even more anti-communist than Senator Joe McCarthy, a Republican. Reid, a Democrat, may be best known as the Senator who injured himself on an exercise machine, sued the maker, and lost. He also became an advocate of spending millions on government UFO research. The communists hated McCarran, chairman of the Senate Internal Security Subcommittee, because he authored the Internal Security Act, requiring registration with the Attorney General of the American Communist Party and affiliated organizations. It was passed over the veto of Democratic President Harry S. Truman. Democrats largely continued a tradition of bipartisan anti-communism until the advent of the presidential candidacy of George McGovern in 1972. In my column, “JFK’s Anti-Communism,” I pointed out that John F. Kennedy was an anti-communist determined to stop communism’s advance around the world by making the U.S. into the strongest military power on earth. This was the main subject of a speech Kennedy never gave because he was assassinated. Ominously, Kennedy also spoke in the prepared remarks of “the guerrillas, saboteurs, insurgents and assassins who threaten freedom” in the world. It was a clear reference to Castro and communist efforts to take Latin America and Southeast Asia. The culmination of this effort can be seen in the invasion of our southern order. On Newsmax, now promoting itself as the conservative alternative to Fox, there is a documentary, “Broken Governments,” featuring Greta Van Susteren, who used to work for Fox. The documentary claims, “The migrant invasion at our southern border can be pinned to systematic government failure here in the United States, and governments worldwide who take advantage of those failures.” The problem is communism, not “broken governments.” Consider the fact that the textbook, Occupied America, the fifth edition, includes an image of Fidel Castro on the front cover, and Castro and Che Guevara on the back cover. It refers to white people as “gringos” and includes a quotation on page 323 from someone angry over the cancellation of a government program. He declares: “We are fed up. We are going to move to do away with the injustice to the Chicano and if the ‘gringo’ doesn’t get out of our way, we will stampede over him.” Whether they intend to “kill the gringo” or just take their land, the message suggests a seizure of power and the end to a way of life. The communists are behind it. The communists were also behind the murder of JFK. The communists killed Kennedy, just as they murdered his brother, RFK, and tried to kill Pope John Paul II. In our column, “Why the Communists Killed Kennedy,” we examined the evidence of the Castro role in the murder of JFK. The Soviet KGB also had a role, through meetings with JFK assassin Lee Harvey Oswald in Mexico and his defection to Soviet Russia. They then tried to mask their involvement through a disinformation campaign called “Dragon Operation,” an effort to shift blame for Kennedy’s murder away from the communists. The Communists wanted Kennedy dead because he had opposed the Cuban revolution, tried to overthrow Castro, and tried to have Castro assassinated. Former CIA officer Brian Latell’s book, Castro’s Secrets, discloses intelligence information that Castro knew that Oswald was going to kill President Kennedy. A former Marine turned Marxist, Oswald was a member of the pro-Castro Fair Play for Cuba Committee. There was another communist strategy in the decision to target Democrats like the Kennedys. Writing about his experiences in the Weather Underground, Larry Grathwohl said, “I remember one meeting when our Weatherman ‘collective’ brought up the subject of the Kennedy assassinations. At least 20 to 25 people were present and Bill Ayers was one of them. I heard Bill state that the murders of both John F. Kennedy and Robert F Kennedy were a good thing because liberals compromise the conflict between U.S. imperialism and the socialist revolution. Liberals prevent the contradictions from becoming obvious and thus prevent a revolution. Therefore, the assassinations of the Kennedys were to be welcomed as a necessary advance on the road to communist world revolution.” This should now be obvious for all to see. Yet, the national Democratic Party pretends there was no communist role in these murders and instead treats former President Trump and his supporters as the subversives. Sadly, RFK’s son, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., now running against Biden, insists that Palestinian Marxist and convicted killer Sirhan Sirhan did not in fact murder his father. In fact, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. goes further, suggesting to Piers Morgan that his father and uncle may have been killed because they were “fighting against the emergence of the military-industrial complex.” Despite the fact that his own son Connor joined the freedom fighters in Ukraine, resisting the Russian invasion, RFK Jr. is now claiming that the U.S. somehow provoked Russia and that too much money has been used to defend the former Soviet republic. Such a position contradicts the historical record, which shows that the Budapest Memorandum signed by Democratic President Bill Clinton and the Russians was supposed to guarantee Ukraine’s territorial independence and sovereignty. The Russians violated that agreement in 2014, when Democrat Barack Hussein Obama was president. Conservatives in the media are ignoring these flaws and contradictions in RFK Jr.’s record because they hope his candidacy can weaken Biden’s run in 2024. “Since launching his campaign, Kennedy is polling in second place to President Joe Biden,” reports the conservative site Just the News. The news organ reported, “In a Beacon Research/Shaw & Company Research poll released last Tuesday, Kennedy polled at 19% to Biden's 62%, according to FiveThirtyEight. An Emerson College poll last week put Kennedy at 21% to Biden's 70%, showing that Kennedy is gaining more support less than two weeks into his campaign.” Former Biden mouthpiece Jen Psaki explains, “Kennedy's early numbers probably have a lot more to do with name recognition than policy. His family is still beloved by many in the Democratic electorate, even though most people would never recognize him on the street.” True or not, the critical fact is that RFK Jr. does not seem to have the same anti-communist credentials as his uncle and father. That’s the critical issue.

![]() We Need Another Lincoln By Cliff Kincaid Since I moved near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, I have developed a deep interest in the Civil War, labeled “America’s Greatest Tragedy” by historian Diana Loski. But as I read her column in an issue of a local magazine, The Gettysburg Experience, it was confirmed to me in dramatic terms that present-day Americans are living through America’s greatest tragedy and the ultimate outcome may be in doubt. But in contrast to understanding the nature and source of the conflict called the American Civil War, our current predicament is still a mystery to many Americans. In this battle, we need another Lincoln. Writing about the impact of such bloody and pivotal battles as Gettysburg, Loski writes about how the nation experienced war within its borders and then suffered through Pearl Harbor and the 9/11 attacks. She concludes, “Even though these assaults constituted acts of war and the human losses were staggering, it cannot compare to experiencing invasion and enduring war within the land, where destruction and misery would be compounded to an exponential level.” In fact, we have had a war within our borders for decades, as reflected in the communist-inspired Vietnam “anti-war” movement, led by domestic communists such as the Weather Underground, which resulted in the communist conquest of Vietnam. What Red China called the “black rebellion” riots of the 1960s erupted again in May 2020, when historic St. John’s church near the White House was almost burned down by Marxist BLM and Antifa activists. Today, eco-terrorism is on the rise. Equally important, there is a civil war in America over abortion, a procedure that has already taken 60 million lives. Women are right in the middle of this civil war, a choice between motherhood or Bella Abzug-style Marxist feminism. Ex-communist Whittaker Chambers described how the atheistic communist philosophy of historical materialism led to abortion on demand for party members. Predictably, after the communist revolution, Russia became the first nation in history to legalize abortion on demand. Joseph Stalin’s “Dialectical and Historical Materialism” is worth reading in this respect. The greatest mass murderer in history, next to Mao, Stalin describes the historical process of slavery, followed by feudalism, capitalism, and socialism, ultimately resulting in communism. Interestingly, Karl Marx was a cheerleader for the northern states in the American civil war, since he saw slavery as just one phase in history that had to be surpassed on the way to world communism. But Lincoln was not a Marxist. However, he did use extraordinary means to keep the nation together. At the time, faced with a civil war started by the southern states, Americans held meetings to declare “Death to the Traitors” and identify spies in their midst. Today, traitors are celebrated. Transgender Army traitor Bradley/Chelsea Manning’s 35-year sentence was commuted by Obama. Communists openly organize the current rebellion, in open violation of the Communist Control Act, a law still on the books but not enforced. Congress abolished internal security panels while Big Tech platforms like YouTube terminated my account and our 500 anti-communist videos. Government control of mass communications has been largely accomplished, while consolidation of the banking sector is happening before our eyes, as the economy slides into more spending, inflation, and debt. Back on December 1, 2020, as the fate of the Trump presidency hung in the balance, Tom Zawistowski, President of the TEA Party affiliated We the People Convention (WTPC), published a full-page ad in the Washington Times newspaper demanding that President Trump Invoke limited martial law in order to allow the U.S. Military to oversee a new free and fair federal election if legislators, courts and the Congress do not follow the Constitution. (My interview with Tom was one of those videos censored by YouTube). Zawistowski now tells me, “I only wish that Trump had heeded our plea as we would have avoided ALL of the damage that has been done to our nation and the world since then. Hopefully he learned from his many mistakes and if we can get him a second term he will do better in the future!” There are many Republicans willing to give Trump a second chance. But has he earned it? Trump avoided being another Lincoln, leaving the door open for Joe Biden and his Obama-era personnel to take control of the White House. Biden, under the control of people Trump labels as Marxists, has become the anti-Lincoln, using extraordinary measures to destroy the Union and exacerbate a civil war. The ad published by Tom Zawistowski discussed the executive actions implemented by President Abraham Lincoln in his efforts to save the Union during the Civil War and the need for similar actions in the matter of the “literal civil war” threatening the Trump presidency and “dividing our nation today.” “In the months following the start of the Civil War,” said the Tea Party ad, “President Abraham Lincoln struggled to preserve the Union. Many objected to Lincoln’s extraordinary use of presidential authority, in particular his suspension of the right of Habeas Corpus.” Lincoln closed newspapers and arrested members of Congress. “Then, as now,” said the ad, “a President with courage and determination was needed to preserve the Union. Today, the current threat to our United States by the international and domestic socialist/communist left is much more serious than anything Lincoln or our nation has faced in its history - including the civil war.” But Trump, after encouraging a “peaceful” protest of the election results on January 6, 2021, vacated the White House. “Nearly 1,000 people have been arrested in connection with the events of Jan. 6, 2021,” says the American Gulag web site. Many are still incarcerated. In a message about the January 6 defendants, Trump said, “It’s the weaponization of the Department of Justice. Our country is going – not socialist, they’ve skipped over that – they skipped over socialism. Our country is going communist.” If Trump is serious about this, he will devote his considerable resources to urging House Speaker Kevin McCarthy to launch a new House Internal Security Committee to investigate security risks in both the Biden Administration and the Congress itself. McCarthy blocked two Democrats from seats on the House Intelligence Committee, but Congress must go further. With Trump’s help, he can expose the enemy within and help turn the tide in our current civil war.
![]() South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol Addresses U.S. Congress My friends, freedom and democracy are once again under threat. The war against Ukraine is a violation of international law. It is an attempt to unilaterally change the status quo with force. Korea strongly condemns the unprovoked armed attack against Ukraine. Excerpts: Alliance of Freedom, Alliance in Action Mr. Speaker, Madam Vice President, Honorable Members of the United States Congress, Distinguished Guests, Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Citizens of America, "A new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal." I stand before that nation with the conviction of freedom, belief in the Alliance, and resolve to open a new future…In 1950, the Korean Peninsula was on the front line. The Soviet Union helped to rearm North Korea. North Korea's surprise attack threatened the peace on the Korean Peninsula and Asia. Korea's freedom and democracy were on the brink. At that decisive moment, the U.S. did not look the other way. Korean and American soldiers stood shoulder to shoulder and fought bravely. Tales of our heroes were written. General MacArthur caught the enemy off guard with the landing of Incheon and turned the tide of the war. Operation Chromite was one of the greatest decisions ever made in the history of war.The U.S. 1st Marine Division miraculously broke through a wave of 120,000 Chinese troops at the Battle of Lake Changjin. Sons and daughters of America sacrificed their lives to "defend a country they never knew and a people they never met." In the Battle of Lake Changjin alone, 4,500 American service members lost their lives. Over the course of the War, almost 37,000 U.S. soldiers fell. The late Colonel William Weber fought in the Battle for Hill 324 in Wonju. He lost his right arm and leg. Yet, this American hero dedicated his life to honoring the noble sacrifice made by the Korean War veterans. Today we are honored to have his granddaughter Ms. Dayne Weber with us. Ms. Weber, would you stand up please? On behalf of the Korean people, I would like to thank you deeply. We salute his noble service and sacrifice. (Thank you, Dayne.) …Korea will never forget the great American heroes who fought with us to defend freedom. Thank you. Thank you. I take this opportunity to pay tribute to all the Korean War veterans and their families. You did not hesitate to send your sons and daughters, husbands and wives, brothers and sisters. You answered the call to defend the freedom of a country across the Pacific. I thank the U.S. and its people for honoring the Korean War as a proud legacy. Thank you also for treating the veterans with honor and respect. Thank you. Thank you. The war ended after three years of intense battle. Our two nations signed the Mutual Defense Treaty and opened a new era of the alliance. Ever since, the Korean people rose from the ruins of war to build a thriving nation. And at every step, America has stood together with Korea. We have many reasons to celebrate our Platinum Anniversary. We had no guarantees of success when we started. But today, our Alliance is stronger than ever, more prosperous together, and more connected like no other. Indeed, it has been the linchpin safeguarding our freedom, peace and prosperity. Once a recipient of aid, Korea is the only nation in modern history to become a donor. This itself demonstrates the success of our Alliance. Let me talk about the history of our Alliance. The ties of our cooperation and exchange span over 140 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1882. In the late 19th century, American missionaries helped to widely introduce the values of freedom and solidarity to Korea. These values are the foundations of Korea's Constitution. They have made a huge impact on our independence movement and the founding of Korea. Horace Underwood, Henry Appenzeller, Mary Scranton, and Rosetta Hall are some of the missionaries to set foot in Korea at the end of the nineteenth century. They built schools and hospitals. They promoted education of women. Their efforts laid the foundations for many Korean women to advance into society as educators, journalists, and doctors. In the early 1960s, the Kennedy administration recommended Professor Rostow's model for economic growth. President Park Chung-hee wisely embraced the idea and pushed economic development forward. It laid the foundation for Korea to become an industrialized country. Known as the "Miracle on the Han River," Korea's economic growth rate was unrivaled. Korea was one of the Least Developed Countries after the war. Its annual income was just US$67 per capita. Now its economy ranks tenth in the world. Thank you. Seoul was once reduced to ashes. Now it is one of the world's most vibrant digital cities. Busan was once flooded with war refugees. Now it is the world's second-largest port city in terms of transshipment volume. It is also bidding to host the World Expo 2030. Korea is winning the hearts of global citizens. It is dynamic. Freedom is thriving and democracy is robust. Korea and the U.S. have joined forces to safeguard freedom and democracy throughout the world. Since World War II, Korea dispatched its warriors of freedom. We fought side by side with the U.S. in Afghanistan, Iraq, and others. ….But today in many parts of the world, false propaganda and disinformation are distorting the truth and public opinion. They are threatening democracy. The rule of law allows the freedoms of everyone to coexist. It is upheld by parliamentary democracy. False propaganda and disinformation corrupt intellectualism. They threaten democracy and the rule of law. Such totalitarian forces may conceal and disguise themselves as defenders of democracy or human rights. But in reality, they deny freedom and democracy. We must not be fooled by such deception and disguises. We have for so long protected democracy and the rule of law with our blood and sweat. We must work together and fight the forces of falsehood and deception that seek to destroy democracy and the rule of law. Those who cherish freedom also respect the freedom of others. Thus, freedom brings peace. Peace, in turn, safeguards freedom. Freedom and peace are sources of creativity and innovation. They bring prosperity and abundance. Our Alliance was forged 70 years ago to defend Korea's freedom. The Alliance has now become a global alliance that safeguards freedom and peace around the world. Korea will fulfill its responsibilities. It will play its part that matches its economic capacity. In his 1961 Inauguration Address, President John F. Kennedy said, "My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man." Korea will stand in solidarity with the international community. We will do what we can for the freedom of humanity. Korea, with the U.S., will march toward the future. As I took office last year, I pledged to rebuild Korea: a nation belonging to the people rooted in freedom, democracy, and market economy; a nation that the people can be truly proud of, as it fulfills its role as a responsible member of the international community. Together with the U.S., Korea will play the role as a "compass for freedom." It will safeguard and broaden the freedom of citizens of the world. But even as we walked in unison for freedom for 70 years, there is one regime determined to pursue a wrong path. That is North Korea. The difference is stark between Seoul that chose freedom and democracy and Pyongyang that chose dictatorship and communism. North Korea has abandoned freedom and prosperity and dismissed peace. North Korea's nuclear program and missile provocations pose a serious threat to the peace on the Korean Peninsula and beyond. To deter its reckless behavior, the alliance must stand united with determination. As President Reagan once said: "There is a price we will not pay. There is a point beyond which they must not advance." We must make his words clear to North Korea… Along with close Korea-U.S. coordination, we need to speed up Korea-U.S.-Japan trilateral security cooperation to counter increasing North Korean nuclear threats… We must raise global awareness of the dire human rights situation in North Korea. We must not shy away from our duty to promote freedom for North Koreans. Last month, my government published a report on North Korean human rights. We released it to the public for the first time. The report documents a wide range of abuses in North Korea. It is based on the testimonies of 508 North Korean defectors collected over the past five years. It records many cases of serious violations of international norms such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other human rights agreements... We need to raise awareness. We must inform the world of the gravity of North Korea's human rights violations. I ask for your help in improving North Korea's grim conditions. My friends, freedom and democracy are once again under threat. The war against Ukraine is a violation of international law. It is an attempt to unilaterally change the status quo with force. Korea strongly condemns the unprovoked armed attack against Ukraine. When North Korea invaded us in 1950, democracies came running to help us. We fought together and kept our freedom. The rest is history. Korea's experience shows us just how important it is for democracies to uphold solidarity. Korea will stand in solidarity with the free world. We will actively work to safeguard the freedom of the people of Ukraine and support their efforts in reconstruction. God bless you, God bless the United States of America, and may God bless our great alliance. Thank you. The P.T. Barnum of the Right
Tucker Carlson released an incoherent video, at the time his normal broadcast would have taken place, in which he made the following vague and obscure points about his shows on UFOs, animal rights, and Russia’s right to invade Ukraine. Source For background: The Real Tucker Carlson Scandal Transcript of Tucker video: Good evening, it’s Tucker Carlson. One of the first things you realize when you step outside the noise for a few days is how many genuinely nice people there are in this country. Kind and decent people, people who really care about what’s true. And a bunch of hilarious people also, a lot of those. It’s got to be the majority of the population, even now, so that’s heartening. The other thing you notice when you take a little time off is how unbelievably stupid most of the debates you see on television are. They’re completely irrelevant. They mean nothing. In five years, we won’t even remember that we had them. Trust me, as someone who’s participated. And yet at the same time, and this is the amazing thing, the undeniably big topics, the ones that will define our future, get virtually no discussion at all: war, civil liberties, emerging science, demographic change, corporate power, natural resources. When was the last time you heard a legitimate debate about any of those issues? It’s been a long time. Debates like that are not permitted in American media. Both political parties and their donors have reached consensus on what benefits them, and they actively collude to shut down any conversation about it. Suddenly, the United States looks very much like a one-party state. That’s a depressing realization, but it’s not permanent. Our current orthodoxies won’t last. They’re brain-dead. Nobody actually believes them. Hardly anyone’s life is improved by them. This moment is too inherently ridiculous to continue, and so it won’t. The people in charge know this, that’s why they’re hysterical and aggressive. They’re afraid. They’ve given up persuasion. They’re resorting to force. But it won’t work. When honest people say what’s true, calmly and without embarrassment, they become powerful. At the same time, the liars who’ve been trying to silence them shrink and they become weaker. That’s the iron law of the universe. True things prevail. Where can you still find Americans saying true things? There aren’t many places left, but there are some, and that’s enough. As long as you can hear the words, there is hope. See you soon. ![]() Trump’s Attacks on DeSantis Are Insane By Cliff Kincaid Attempting to define our problem as a nation, President Trump was right on target, telling Greg Kelly of Newsmax, “There's a little group, a small group of people that are very smart, very radical left, probably Marxists, and they're running our country into the ground and they're using law enforcement and they're using the DOJ and the FBI as retribution -- something that has never happened anywhere near what's going on right now.” He added, “This is Marxism, this is communism, what they are doing.” What is Trump’s solution? His newest book, Letters to Trump, is a collection of fan mail that sells for about $100.00, a price out of reach for the members of the working class he claims to represent. Clearly, an expensive book of fan mail isn’t the answer. If he really wants to expose the communists, let him ask House Speaker Kevin McCarthy to launch a new House Internal Security Committee, with jurisdiction over the communist menace from within. Then staff it with experts on communism who have read and understand the Communist Manifesto. As Trump knows, America has been infiltrated from top to bottom by communists and fellow travelers, especially in the so-called “Intelligence Community.” Obama’s CIA director John Brennan voted communist. Still, he got a job and rose through the ranks. Brennan and his 50 of his colleagues wrote a letter to get Biden elected by calling his son’s incriminating computer laptop Russian disinformation. The letter was a lie. The signers were “intelligence professionals,” demonstrating that the problems in the Intelligence Community did not start or stop with Brennan. I witnessed and reported on thousands of communists turning out in Washington, D.C., and other cities on March 18, to call for America’s defeat in the face of military power from Russia and China. Many of these activists, most of them young people, will get jobs in academia or government. Others will join the communist revolution in the streets. Remember that we have entered into the socialist phase of communist revolution, as demonstrated by Biden’s decision to tap a Leninist scholar, Saule Omarova, as the Comptroller of the Currency. The source of the problem is Marxism-Leninism, which is behind two subversive policies that are evident in the policies of the national Democratic Party – the centralization of economic and financial power in the federal government, and the destruction of the traditional family. Calling it socialism is not sufficient. As C. Bradley Thompson of the Clemson Institute for the Study of Capitalism wrote, “In a remarkably short period of time, the philosophy of Karl Marx profoundly changed the course of human civilization. In fact, no system of ideas transformed the world as quickly or as comprehensively as did the philosophy of Marx -- not even the teachings of Jesus or Muhammad.” In specific terms, the Communist Manifesto outlines two major policies for the destruction of the existing order – a “progressive” income tax on the citizens and the outright abolition of the family, leading to consolidation of power in the hands of the state. In direct and stark language, the Communist Manifesto also mandates the “centralization of the means of communications” in the hands of the state. With the argument over lifting the debt ceiling, we are witnessing the centralization of financial power in the hands of the federal government. Republicans want to lift the debt ceiling, in exchange for some modest cuts in the federal budget. Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s counter-proposal, the “Live, Save, Grow Act” still increases federal spending and the national debt. Some may say that the Republicans are at least doing something. But when both sides of a debate favor more debt, it means the communists win. With the revelations of government control over the social media platforms, we are witnessing consolidation of “the means of communications” in the hands of the federal government. Nothing the Republicans have done will stop this consolidation. Trump failed to break up the Big Tech monopolies, as he promised to do. Meanwhile, although Leninist scholar Saule Omarova’s nomination went down to defeat, the consolidation of the banking sector is now underway. Sadly, Trump has been reduced to selling books about his former friends, who wrote fan mail but then turned on him after he ran for office, and attacking Ron DeSantis, a good governor under attack by Disney. His attacks on DeSantis echo bogus Democratic Party talking points about Republicans seeking to cut Social Security. Trump should join with DeSantis, not try to destroy him. Disney, which represents Cultural Marxism in America, is the enemy. And behind Cultural Marxism is the same philosophy that Trump says is controlling and destroying America today.
![]() The Real Tucker Carlson Scandal By Cliff Kincaid Many conservatives are despondent over Tucker Carlson’s firing. But they should wipe away their tears. Tucker used his show to promote some conservative causes, but he also spent a lot of time hyping inane and bizarre stories about UFOs, animal rights, and the virtues of conservative homosexuals. He even aired a show about cattle mutilations, supposedly committed by outer space aliens. The promo showed a cow being sucked up into a flying saucer. “Tens of thousands of animals found dead, mutilated, and gutted,” said the Fox promo. “Who is doing it and why? In this shocking episode, Tucker searches for answers…” What he was searching for were gullible viewers, willing to believe anything. He pushed hot buttons and threw red meat, all of it designed to attract viewers and make money for Fox. I salute his coverage of the January 6 “insurrection,” demonstrating through the film footage released to him by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy that law enforcement authorities orchestrated or encouraged the attack on the Capitol. It was entrapment, designed to discredit the Trump movement. But airing a show like this, while padding it with insights from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), demonstrated he was not a serious conservative. In the latest such example, he interviewed PETA Director of Outreach Ashley Byrne “to discuss New York City’s rat problem, why humans are to blame and how to get it under control.” Clearly, Tucker was making lots of money for the Murdochs before the Dominion lawsuit hit, with discovery in the proceedings exposing his double-talk about Trump and his supporters. Anyone reading the internal emails and text messages from within Fox had to admit that leading personalities like Tucker were two-faced and insincere. Nobody with serious conservative credentials could defend Carlson in the wake of those embarrassing disclosures. Equally important, on one issue where he remained steadfast and apparently serious, he became a vocal opponent of Ukraine’s ability to defend itself against Russia, and was compared to Walter Duranty, the former New York Times correspondent who whitewashed Stalin’s crimes against Ukraine when it was a Soviet republic. No legitimate conservative would excuse or rationalize the mass murder of tens of thousands of Ukrainians. Coming less than a week after the Dominion settlement, in which Fox paid $787 million, the timing of the firing of Tucker Carlson raises important questions. His double-talk about Trump and Trump supporters, as revealed in the Dominion suit, meant that Fox could not afford to go forward with the case and do damage control after Tucker’s predictable melt-down on the witness stand. But the other important firing was that of the Fox News Senior Executive Producer of Tucker Carlson Tonight and Vice President of Tucker Carlson Digital Products, a defendant described in another on-going lawsuit as “the powerful gay man” behind the show and identified as Justin Wells. The other lawsuit involves Tucker and this (former) producer, accused by his former head of booking, Abby Grossberg, of helping create a hostile work environment that included disparaging remarks about women and minorities. The producer has defended himself in the past, in the face of criticism by the homosexual movement, by re-tweeting a statement that read, in part, “…under his vision, Tucker Carlson tonight boasts a heavy rotation of popular LGBT guests.” This is true. Indeed, Tucker featured “Gays against Groomers,” an attempt to differentiate gays from gay predators. The “Gays Against Groomers” founder, Jaimee Michell, was on Tucker’s show, treated with kid gloves. But Tucker was not alone in going soft on the gays. Richard Grenell , who is openly gay, was hired by Newsmax, a competitor to Fox, as a vice-president, “national security contributor” and “executive for international partnerships,” whatever that means. The former Acting Director of National Intelligence, Grenell’s interview on the topic of Gay Pride 2020 is still available on the intelligence agency website, where he describes working with the Harvey Milk Foundation to launch global campaigns to decriminalize homosexual activity. This started under Trump. Grenell said, “I am incredibly proud to work with my friend Stuart Milk. Stuart’s energy and personality inspires me. Our work to decriminalize homosexuality around the world is a monumental task.” I don’t know why Newsmax has decided to go in a gay-friendly direction, an approach on a global level which strikes conservative Christians as Marxist imperialism. But it will not endear these concerned citizens with a nice feeling about the channel. It’s a bad move when the channel is trying to sound more conservative than Fox. I wrote a February 18 column, “Fire Tucker Carlson and Don Lemon,” which has now come to pass on the same day. In my view, Tucker went over the edge with his promotion of a communist rally against Ukraine in Washington, D.C. His denigration of the fight for freedom in Ukraine, in the face of a brutal Russian invasion, is just unconscionable. He has openly complained about alleged NSA surveillance of his personal communications. But the Abby Grossberg suit may have been what caused the Murdochs to fire Tucker Carlson and his producer. Fox News denies the allegations but the suit is still outstanding. Glenn Beck says Tucker’s firing is “a dark day for the conservative movement,” adding, “We’re looking at the death of Fox News.” Beck knows better than this. Once a host on the channel, he was fired by Fox after exposing George Soros. If Fox died, it died years ago. The channel has always been about making money, but has gone through a series of sex scandals involving its founder, Roger Ailes, and one of its stars, Bill O’Reilly. It looks like another scandal with sexual or sexist overtones is in the making. This seems to be the real reason, on top of the Dominion disclosures, why Tucker had to go.
PRESS RELEASE
U.S. Citizens and Russian Intelligence Officers Charged with Conspiring to Use U.S. Citizens as Illegal Agents of the Russian GovernmentTuesday, April 18, 2023 For Immediate Release U.S. Attorney's Office, Middle District of Florida Defendants Sought to Sow Discord, Spread Pro-Russia Propaganda and Interfere in Elections Within the United StatesA federal grand jury in Tampa, Florida, returned a superseding indictment charging four U.S. citizens and three Russian nationals with working on behalf of the Russian government and in conjunction with the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) to conduct a multi-year foreign malign influence campaign in the United States. Among other conduct, the superseding indictment alleges that the Russian defendants recruited, funded and directed U.S. political groups to act as unregistered illegal agents of the Russian government and sow discord and spread pro-Russian propaganda; the indicted intelligence officers, in particular, participated in covertly funding and directing candidates for local office within the United States. Additionally, in a separate case out of the District of Columbia, a criminal complaint was unsealed charging Russian national Natalia Burlinova with conspiring with an FSB officer to act as an illegal agent of Russia in the United States. “Russia’s foreign intelligence service allegedly weaponized our First Amendment rights – freedoms Russia denies its own citizens – to divide Americans and interfere in elections in the United States,” said Assistant Attorney General Matthew G. Olsen of the Justice Department’s National Security Division. “The department will not hesitate to expose and prosecute those who sow discord and corrupt U.S. elections in service of hostile foreign interests, regardless of whether the culprits are U.S. citizens or foreign individuals abroad.” “Efforts by the Russian government to secretly influence U.S. elections will not be tolerated,” said Assistant Attorney General Kenneth A. Polite, Jr. of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division. “As today’s announcement demonstrates, the Criminal Division is committed to eradicating foreign malign influence from the U.S. political system and helping ensure the integrity of our elections.” “Today’s announcement paints a harrowing picture of Russian government actions and the lengths to which the FSB will go to interfere with our elections, sow discord in our nation and ultimately recruit U.S citizens to their efforts,” said Acting Assistant Director Kurt Ronnow of the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division. “All Americans should be deeply concerned by the tactics employed by the FSB and remain vigilant to any attempt to undermine our democracy. The FBI remains committed to confronting this egregious behavior and ultimately disrupting our adversaries and those who act on their behalf.” United States v. Ionov, et al. According to the superseding indictment returned in the Middle District of Florida, Aleksandr Viktorovich Ionov, a resident of Moscow, was the founder and president of the Anti-Globalization Movement of Russia (AGMR), an organization headquartered in Moscow, Russia, and funded by the Russian government. Ionov allegedly utilized AGMR to carry out Russia’s malign influence campaign. Ionov’s influence efforts were allegedly directed and supervised by Moscow-based FSB officers, including indicted defendants Aleksey Borisovich Sukhodolov and Yegor Sergeyevich Popov. “The prosecution of this criminal conduct is essential to protecting the American public when foreign governments seek to inject themselves into the American political process,” said U.S. Attorney Roger B. Handberg for the Middle District of Florida. “We thank our partners at the FBI for their tireless investigation of these events and their commitment to ensure justice is done.” Among other illegal activities, the superseding indictment alleges that Ionov, Sukhodolov and Popov conspired to directly and substantially influence democratic elections in the United States by clandestinely funding and directing the political campaign of a particular candidate for local office in St. Petersburg, Florida, in 2019. For instance, the superseding indictment alleges that Popov expressly referred to this effort on behalf of the FSB as “our election campaign,” and Ionov referring to the candidate as the “candidate whom we supervise.” Ionov and Popov allegedly intended that this election interference plot would extend beyond the 2019 local election cycle in St. Petersburg, and subsequently discussed that the “USA Presidential election” was the FSB’s “main topic of the year.” Moreover, from at least November 2014 until July 2022, Ionov allegedly engaged in a years-long foreign malign influence campaign targeting the United States. As a part of the campaign, Ionov allegedly recruited members of political groups within the United States, including the African People’s Socialist Party and the Uhuru Movement (collectively, the APSP) in Florida, Black Hammer in Georgia and a political group in California (referred to in the superseding indictment as U.S. Political Group 3), to participate in the influence campaign and act as agents of Russia in the United States, including the following indicted defendants:
One focus of Ionov’s alleged influence operation was to create the appearance of American popular support for Russia’s annexation of territories in Ukraine. For example, in May 2020, Ionov allegedly sent a request he stated was from “Russia, the Donetsk People’s Republic” – an apparent reference to a Russian-occupied region in eastern Ukraine – to Yeshitela and members of other U.S. political groups to make statements in support of the independence of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic, a Russian-backed breakaway state in eastern Ukraine. Ionov later allegedly touted to the FSB that Yeshitela’s video-recorded statement of support was the first time that “American nonprofit organizations congratulated citizens” of the occupied region. Ionov’s use of the APSP to promote Russian propaganda relating to Ukraine allegedly continued after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. On the day Russia invaded Ukraine, Feb. 24, 2022, Ionov allegedly emailed Nevel an “URGENT MESSAGE” which contained pro-Russian talking points in support of the invasion. Thereafter, throughout March 2022, the APSP repeatedly hosted Ionov via video conference to discuss the war, during which Ionov falsely stated that anyone who supported Ukraine also supported Naziism and white supremacy, and Yeshitela and another APSP member allegedly made statements of solidarity with the Russian government. Ionov, Sukhodolov, Popov, Yeshitela, Hess, Nevel and Romain are charged with conspiring to have U.S. citizens act as illegal agents of the Russian government within the United States without providing prior notification to the Attorney General, as required by law. If convicted, they each face a maximum penalty of five years in prison. Yeshitela, Hess and Nevel are also charged with acting as agents of Russia within the United States without such prior notification. If convicted, they each face a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison. If convicted, a federal district court judge will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Daniel J. Marcet and Risha Asokan for the Middle District of Florida, Trial Attorney Menno Goedman of the Justice Department’s Counterintelligence and Export Control Section, and Trial Attorney Demetrius Sumner of the Criminal Division’s Public Integrity Section are prosecuting the case. United States v. Burlinova According to the affidavit in support of the criminal complaint unsealed in the District of Columbia, Russian national Natalia Burlinova, a resident of Moscow, conspired with an FSB officer to recruit U.S. citizens from academic and research institutions to travel to Russia to participate in a public diplomacy program called Meeting Russia. The program was operated by PICREADI, a Russian organization led by Burlinova, funded by the Russian government and devoted to promoting Russian national interests. “The defendant is accused of subverting our foreign agent notification laws to promote Russian national interests here in the United States, concealing from the public that her recruitment efforts were funded by a Russian security service,” said U.S. Attorney Matthew M. Graves for the District of Columbia. “We will continue to expose these serious crimes and hold all who perpetrate them accountable.” The affidavit alleges that the FSB officer provided funding and other support for Burlinova’s foreign recruitment and her efforts to advance Russian interests in the United States. In return, Burlinova provided the FSB officer with extensive information about U.S. citizens who were recruited to attend her programs, including their résumés, passport information, photographs and analyses of their views toward Russia. Burlinova further identified for the FSB officer particular U.S. citizens who, in Burlinova’s view, had expressed positive attitudes towards Russia and were prepared to continue to collaborate. During a recruitment trip to the United States in fall 2018, Burlinova met with U.S. citizens at various universities and research institutions and provided to photographs of her meetings to the FSB officer. The FSB officer used the information Burlinova provided prepare FSB intelligence reports. Burlinova never notified the Attorney General of these efforts or otherwise disclosed to the public that her recruitment efforts were supported and funded by a Russian security service. Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael J. Friedman for the District of Columbia and Trial Attorney Emma D. Ellenrieder of the National Security Division’s Counterintelligence and Export Control Section are prosecuting the case. An indictment and a complaint are merely an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. Updated April 18, 2023 Action Items for the Conservative Movement

In Florida, HB 395 (2022) was passed creating a Victims of Communism Day on the evils of communism/socialism. HB 5 (2021) amended s. 1003.4282 F.S. requires instruction in all U.S. Government graduation requirement courses to include a comparative discussion of political ideologies, such as communism and totalitarianism, that conflict with the principles of freedom and democracy essential to the founding principles of the United States. Additionally, world history courses include instruction on many of the communist/socialist regimes throughout history, including the horrific record of death and destruction. America’s Survival, Inc. (ASI) is commending Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for passage of “Victims of Communism Day” educational instruction in the state’s high schools but is now encouraging expansion of the material into a full-fledged “Communism Education Week” to benefit all students. “Such a move,” said ASI President Cliff Kincaid, “could serve as a model for other states and the nation.” In Maryland, students have the benefit of visiting two important places -- The National Cryptologic Museum, which offers tours and education programs for K-12 student groups and civic organizations, and the Victims of Communism Museum in Washington, D.C., which provides seminars for middle and high school educators interested in teaching about the history of communism and its legacy.
House Republican congressional committees are examining the China threat and the “weaponization” of government against Trump and his supporters. But we need a separate panel to monitor and expose communist groups active on American soil. The last panel to do that was the House Internal Security Committee, which published a 1974 study linking the communist Workers World Party (WWP) and its front organizations to Cuba, Arab terrorists, and prison agitation. This committee was abolished by congressional liberals in 1975. This committee should examine enforcement of the Communist Control Act.
My group America’s Survival, Inc. sponsored “The Soros Files” conference on October 27, 2011, more than ten years ago, and many more such events. But YouTube censored America’s Survival, Inc., we were threatened with a left-wing lawsuit, and we were de-funded by new liberal leadership at the Scaife Foundations. As a result, more than 500 ASI videos and reports disappeared from the Internet. Nevertheless, we remain the leading anti-communist organization in the U.S. We have published more than one dozen books, including Global Bondage: The U.N. Plan to Rule the World, Global Taxes for World Government, Blood on His Hands: The True Story of Edward Snowden, Back from the Dead: The Return of the Evil Empire, Red Jihad, The Sword of Revolution and the Communist Apocalypse, Marxist Madrassas, Comrade Obama Unmasked: Marxist Mole in the White House, and Red Star Rising: The Making of Barack Hussein Obama and the Transformation of America. America's Survival, Inc. (ASI) is recognized as a 501 (C)3 organization by the IRS. Your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. America’s Survival, Inc., P.O. Box 1167, Emmitsburg, MD 21727 ![]() Fox News Loses $787 Million and its Credibility By Cliff Kincaid There is no way to spin it: Fox News has suffered a major embarrassment, with its $787 million settlement in the Dominion voting case. Dominion lawyers now promise to pursue other cases, such as collecting $1.6 billion from Mike Lindell of My Pillow, a major advertiser on Fox and other conservative outlets. This settlement was designed to spare Tucker Carlson, the channel’s biggest star, the spectacle of going on the witness stand. Publicly, Tucker was acting like Trump’s lawyers had to be on Fox, making their case against Dominion, so that the viewers would be happy and informed. Privately, he was sending email and text messages to colleagues and friends basically declaring Trump’s lawyers to be fools and idiots. The failure to provide a rational case against vote fraud, compounded by the discovery process leading to the revelations about Fox’s internal deliberations, opened the door for Dominion, a leading provider of “hardware and software election tabulation solutions,” to sue for damages, and win. In the wake of the biggest defamation case settlement in history, knee-jerk supporters of Fox such as Matt Vespa of Townhall have come to the channel’s defense, saying, “The preliminary depositions were brutal, so liberal America was anticipating a court battle, where their arch-nemesis -- Fox News -- would be humiliated. That didn’t happen.” But it did happen. What’s fascinating on one level is that Fox Corporation, a multi-billion dollar firm, was beaten badly by Staple Street Capital Group LLC, the small private equity buyout firm that owns Dominion Voting Systems. Dominion had promised to expose lies and misinformation and Fox conceded, “We acknowledge the Court’s rulings finding certain claims about Dominion to be false.” Viewed objectively, the settlement itself says nothing about the nature or validity of the evidence as to whether some voting machines could have been manipulated to achieve a certain result. It only means that Fox was not prepared to admit on the witness stand that Tucker and other personalities were saying one thing in private and another in public. That meant that a jury could use this evidence to declare the channel guilty of deliberately spreading lies. And that is one element of defamation. Fox Corporation can easily absorb the settlement costs and proceed with business as usual. But Fox also lost its credibility with conservatives serious about the battle to save America and ensure honest and fair elections. Even without a trial featuring the grilling of Tucker Carlson, the evidence already filed in the case showed that Tucker was concerned about airing doubts about the election fraud claims because it would drive away Trump supporters convinced the election was stolen. He believed that Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich’s skeptical coverage of the vote fraud allegations was “hurting” the company with its conservative viewer base and driving down the stock price. The full quote shows Carlson telling Sean Hannity, “Please get her fired. Seriously…What the f---? I’m actually shocked…It needs to stop immediately, like tonight. It’s measurably hurting the company. The stock price is down. Not a joke.” At one point, Carlson texted with an associate that Trump was “a demonic force, a destroyer. But he’s not going to destroy us.” A political chameleon with a rich kid’s background, who started out with MSNBC, it appears that Tucker’s coverage was itself rigged to please viewers and retain and grow his audience, out of concern news consumers would defect to alternatives like Newsmax. But Newsmax and other outlets also face lawsuits from Dominion. Hence, after denouncing Trump in private, Tucker recently turned around and interviewed him, giving the former president a one-hour opportunity to state his case for re-election. While Tucker lands important interviews, such as the one with Elon Musk, he has been exposed as a two-faced character, with his finger blowing in the wind, depending on what he thinks attracts viewers. His concern with the stock price of Fox has made him millions of dollars, based on exploiting issues he thinks the viewers want covered. I was one of those fooled by Tucker. At one time, I thought he was the new voice of the forgotten American, noting that he was urging Republicans to the return to the themes that got Trump elected. His 2018 book, Ship of Fools, was about how the failures of the political establishment led to the election of Trump. But the discovery process in the Dominion-Fox lawsuit exposed how the channel regards its own viewers as fools. My column, “Trump’s Enemies May Surprise You,” alluded to the fact that although he was once associated with so-called neo-con Bill Kristol, Carlson now poses as a populist opposed to the neo-cons, bad-mouthing Ukraine’s battle against the Russian invaders. It’s difficult to figure out what he actually believes. Carlson regularly highlights a number of other flip-floppers, including:
I noted as well that while we hear a lot these days from Fox commentators about alleged Soros-backed prosecutors, it was Fox which banned Chris Farrell of Judicial Watch for criticizing Soros on the Lou Dobbs show, and that Glenn Beck was actually fired from Fox News for exposing Soros. In another case of two-faced coverage, Fox hypes the threat from the transgender movement while hiring transgender former athlete Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner and featuring him/her on the channel’s coverage of biological males in women’s sports. Meanwhile on the ground, often without the necessary funding, those serious about the issue of vote fraud are working to ensure free, fair, and transparent elections. In Maryland, for example, a state-wide Voter Integrity group has focused on such matters as mail-in ballots and ballot harvesting efforts, specialized in by Democrats to overcome same-day turnout and overtake Republican leads in critical state and county races. Ballot harvesting allows political operatives to collect absentee ballots and drop them off at a polling place or election office. Former President Trump once criticized ballot harvesting but now says Republicans should embrace the practice. Perhaps this is where his lawyers should have concentrated their attention.
Journalist Cliff Kincaid, a new resident of Frederick County, will discuss how the nation has been infiltrated by communists, from top to bottom, with an eye-opening PowerPoint about the March 18 Communist pro-China rally in D.C., complete with photos, April 17 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the monthly meeting of the Frederick County Conservative Club. The event will be held at the Elks Lodge 289 Williowdale Dr., Frederick, MD. Kincaid, president of America’s Survival, Inc. (www.usasurvival.org) , will examine such issues as communists in federal agencies, military installations, and defense industries based in Maryland.
